Moving from Advant to 800xA

For older-generation Advant systems we are with you through HMI upgrades, 800xA version upgrades, S100/S400 to S800 I/O upgrades and AC400 to AC800M CPU upgrades, with a phased roadmap that does not interrupt production. At most plants the key question is not "when" but "in what order": HMI first, or controllers? When does the I/O follow? Spare-part risk, outage opportunities and budget decide that order together.

Lifecycle management

With proper maintenance Advant systems run for many years, but spare parts and expert knowledge diminish over time. That is why keeping the system going today and preparing for tomorrow should be handled together:

Can I find spare parts for my Advant system?

We provide spare-part supply and second-hand product database support. Making an inventory of critical parts and preparing a risk-based stock plan is the healthiest approach.

Should I move Advant to 800xA right away?

There is no need to rush, but you need to know the risk. An inventory and risk assessment decides which components are renewed first, and a phased roadmap that does not stop production is prepared.

What does an annual maintenance agreement include?
